Artist details
Christine specialises in figurative and portrait sculpture using traditional methods of clay modelling and bronze casting, but also enjoys working with welded fabricated metals to produce sculpture in a more contemporary style. In each artwork, she endeavors to capture the character, spirit and motivation of her subject, working from live sittings or, where necessary, from photographs and other historical records. Christine also likes to capture a feeling of life and movement in her figures.
Christine has completed over sixty public and private commissions and many limited-edition figurative sculptures. As well as in public spaces, her works can be found in many private collections throughout UK, Continental Europe, Australia, the Caribbean, Singapore, Russia, India, USA and Hong Kong.
