Aphra Behn, young, fit and healthy, walked out of the foundry this morning. What a sight!
The Canterbury Commemoration Society has reached its fundraising target for the Aphra Behn statue. Discussions with the City Council about Aphra’s exact positioning and installation are at an advanced stage, and we hope to have details of that and the unveiling ceremony before too long.
