The Canterbury Commemoration Society visited Aphra at the foundry this week to see her progress.
Apart from looking a bit white after her sand blasting, Aphra’s in good spirits. She is particularly pleased with the City Council for finding a place for her outside the Beaney Institute in the High Street, and she hopes to take up residence there in April or May.
Christine has been elected as a Fellow of Royal Society of Arts.
